A fully functioning research laboratory has been established within the Institute of Medical Research (IMR) at Northwick Park Hospital, immediately adjacent to St Mark’s Hospital. Professor Colin Green, the Director of the IMR has been extremely helpful in incorporating Dr Jenkins within the academically prestigious IMR and allowing the establishment of a research laboratory. Due to the high level of research activities within the IMR and the full occupancy of all current available laboratories, the Armedillo lab had to be created from scratch. It will be a state of the art laboratory equipped with the latest technology, including Class II facilities for the extraction and quantification of RNA. |
